Since 2006, Oliver Wesson has been a senior relationship manager at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Bank’s Healthcare & Institutions group. Prior to joining Bank of America, Mr. Wesson was a Managing Director at Depfa Bank plc where he was head of the Irish bank’s San Francisco Representative Office. Oliver’s career in finance began over forty years ago when he joined JP Morgan in New York. His career has included senior positions in International Finance, Public Finance, Corporate Finance, Commercial Banking and Global Technology and Operations as well as Community development lending and investments.

A strong believer in the important role of non profit organizations, Mr. Wesson to serve as a Board member of several nonprofits including the following:

  • Board of Directors, Front Porch Communities and Services, Glendale, CA (2017- present)
  • Board of Directors, Northern California Presbyterian Homes and Services, San Francisco, CA (2008 -2015). Board Chair- (2013-2015)
  • Board of Directors, Catholic Healthcare West (now Dignity Health), San Francisco, CA (served two terms 1994 to 2000 and 2004 to 2006)
  • Taconic Foundation Board of Trustees, New York, NY (2000 to 2012)
  • Advisory Board, Milano Graduate School of Management and Urban Policy – The New School University, New York, NY. (1991-1995)
  • Board of Directors - New York Housing Partnership, New York, N.Y. (1991 – 1996)

Mr. Wesson is the father of four adult sons and lives in San Francisco with his wife Barbara. He received his BA in Economics from Stanford University and his MBA from Stanford University, Graduate School of Business. A Navy veteran, Mr. Wesson received the Navy Achievement Medal for his service in Viet Nam.
