Geetha Vallabhaneni is the Founder and CEO of Luminix Inc., an enterprise software company using a mobile platform.  Mobile computing has arrived on a global scale and has redefined consumer markets and user engagement. Luminix Inc. is now creating enterprise software with a focus on user experience.  Mobile no longer means a re-sized website to fit the device screen. It means a transformative user experience that anticipates and reacts to the touch of a finger.

To create such experience, Luminix Inc. is driven by the core principles of user-centric design. Customers include ING, Kraft, Univar, Hospira, Molnlycke Healthcare, Cardinal Health, Pacific Comp and Heineken.

President Barack Obama cited Geetha as an example of the challenges within our immigration system that kept us from attracting the best talents from across the globe.  An Indian-American woman entrepreneur in the Silicon Valley, she got a green card after 12 years of agonizing wait.  "We're training our own competition, rather than invite those incredibly talented young people, like Geetha, to stay here and start businesses and create jobs here," Obama said in his remarks on immigration in San Francisco last year.  Geetha introduced Obama at the event.
