The annual Humankindness Gala, hosted by Dignity Health Foundation, showcases kindness and addresses social issues facing communities served by Dignity Health, raising over a million dollars each year.

One hundred percent of proceeds from the gala are used to help address major social issues and health disparities facing our communities – including human trafficking, postpartum depression, concussion education and prevention, and health equity. In partnership with Dignity Health, one of the nation's largest health care providers, the foundation supports investments in people that help them live with dignity.

Funds raised through the Humankindness Gala support programs like the Medical Safe Haven Clinic, part of Dignity Health's Human Trafficking Response Program.

Trafficked persons suffer from serious medical and mental health issues ranging from physical and sexual abuse, to malnutrition, to post-traumatic stress disorder. At Dignity Health we are committed to training more staff, establishing more community partnerships, and reaching more survivors of human trafficking.
