There are four components of the Dignity Health Concussion Network:

  • Barrow Brainbook™ delivers concussion education to high school athletes through a fun-to-use, athlete-focused online learning module. Brainbook was launched in 2011 in Arizona, where more than 250,000 student athletes have since used it for concussion education. Today, every high school athlete in the state must complete Brainbook before being cleared for play.
  • Baseline Measurement provides pre- and post-concussion test results so trainers and coaches can determine if it is safe for an athlete to return to play.
  • Barrow Concussion Registry compiles baseline test results so researchers can compare pre- and post-injury data.
  • Consult Accelerator gives trainers and coaches 24/7 access to telehealth consultation with a neurologist specializing in concussions and traumatic brain injuries.
